Alex Pereira definitely has a lot to be thankful for.
The reigning UFC light heavyweight champion was one of several members of the MMA community to take to social media Thursday to commemorate Thanksgiving. Pereira entered the octagon three times in 2024 and three times he left with his gold around his waist, knocking out Khalil Rountree Jr., Jiri Prochazka, and Jamahal Hill. You can bet the UFC is thankful for Pereira, too, as the Brazilian star has made himself available on less-than-ideal notice to headline their pay-per-view shows.
Other UFC stars also took the day to express their gratitude, with Sean O’Malley showing off his unique brand of hunter-gathering, Matt Brown campaigning against the traditional turkey dinner, and Aljamain Sterling tweeting his plans to save a big meal for after next weekend, when he competes at UFC 310.
